Exam in the Albanian language in North Macedonia to be employed in the state administration

 The Minister of Information Society and Administration in North Macedonia, Azir Aliu, emphasized that the application form for employment in the administration of North Macedonia will also be given in the Albanian language.

According to him, this is being applied from the 16th of this month (October, 2023).

Minister Aliu says that for 7 months they managed to fulfill this promise, with which the new generations will be able to answer the exam for employment in the state administration in their native language.



In North Macedonia, 24.3 percent of the population is Albanian, according to the State Statistics Agency. Based on the results of the census held from 5 to 30 September 2021, the total number of resident population is 1,836,713 inhabitants.

According to these data, of the total number of the resident population, 58.44 percent of them are declared Macedonian, 3.84 percent are Turkish, 2.53 percent are from the Roma community, 0.47 percent are Vlach, 1.3 percent are Serbian and 0.87 percent are declared as Bosniaks.
