A person who brutally mutilated an eagle in Përmet has been arrested. This refers to the incident that occurred in the village of Buhal, where yesterday, an injured eagle was found crucified and alive on a fence.
The eagle was taken by police officers to a veterinarian but unfortunately did not survive its injuries, and it died today.
The police managed to arrest the perpetrator of this gruesome act. During a police search of the 35-year-old suspect's house with the initials N.A., they found two dead hawks that he claimed to have killed with a shotgun two days prior.

The perpetrator of the mistreatment of the eagle has been identified and arrested, an incident that occurred yesterday.
Based on police intelligence, the services of the Permet Police Commissariat, following investigative actions to identify the perpetrator of the mistreatment of the eagle, which occurred yesterday, managed to identify, apprehend, and accompany the citizen N.A., 35 years old, residing in Përmet.
During the search conducted at his residence, the police found 2 hawks which this citizen declared he had killed with a shotgun two days ago.
Following these actions, citizen N.A. was arrested in flagrante, as he is suspected to be the perpetrator of the eagle's mistreatment.
