In a successful police operation codenamed "Hide call," three individuals involved in deceiving foreign citizens through fake stock investments have been arrested. Additionally, two individuals will undergo further proceedings, while another is still at large.

The operation was conducted by specialists from the Sector for the Investigation of Economic and Financial Crimes of the Tirana DVP, in collaboration with the Special Force for Special Operations and Investigations. The operation was carried out under the supervision of the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Tirana.

As a result of this operation, E. I., 21 years old, M. K., 22 years old, and U. T., 23 years old, all residing in Tirana, were arrested in flagrante delicto.

Procedures in a state of freedom have been initiated for A. U., 22 years old, and K. T., 20 years old. Additionally, D. T., 25 years old, has been declared wanted.

Investigations revealed that these individuals were employed at a call center in Yzberisht. Collaborating with each other, they would call foreign citizens, presenting themselves as sales agents. Through deception, they would convince them to invest in the fictitious Forex stock market.

As material evidence, seven computer units, one USB, and mobile phones used for these criminal activities were seized during the investigative actions.

The procedural materials have been handed over to the Prosecutor's Office for further actions. This operation demonstrates the commitment of law enforcement in cracking down on fraudulent schemes that target unsuspecting individuals, protecting the public from financial scams.
