Albanian entrepreneur Lulzim Kryeziu ends his life, found hanged in his own business

 The Kosovo Business Alliance (AKB) confirmed the passing of entrepreneur Lulzim Kryeziu from Malisheva. Through a Facebook post, AKB expressed condolences for his death.

"We will always remember our friend Lulzim Latifi Kryeziu. Why did you leave us so early! Rest in peace. AKB will always be proud of you and your work in Kosovo's economy as Shell, an international brand," the post reads.

Earlier, the Kosovo Police announced that a person was found hanged in a family business premises in the village of Mleqan-Malisheva.

The sudden loss of Lulzim Kryeziu has left a void in the business community, and his contributions to Kosovo's economy will be remembered and celebrated by the Kosovo Business Alliance. Our thoughts are with his family and loved ones during this difficult time.

The reasons why he undertook such an extreme act are not known, but for the moment we can say that he was under house arrest for a few months, based on a decision of the Basic Court in Pristina. Kryeziu appeared before the court today under the suspicion of domestic violence. He was also previously accused of beating a journalist.
