During this event, the head coach of the Albanian team was honored with the "Golden Eagle" award for his contribution to the qualifying campaign of the national team, which secured a historic ticket to the finals of Euro 2024 in Germany.

Albania's Prime Minister, Edi Rama, invited Coach Sylvinho to the stage along with his assistants Doriva, Hamdi Salihi, and the director of National Teams at the Albanian Football Federation (FSHF), Dritan Babamusta, presenting the award amid jokes.

Upon receiving the award, the coach greeted everyone present in Albanian, saying, "Good evening. Thank you very much. Thank you all," and added:

"I want to thank all the players of the Albanian National Team; they are all strong, but of course, not forgetting the coaching staff and the Albanian Football Federation. We have several representatives here, but we have over 15 people in the team's staff.

Thank you all, thank you to the entire team because without those players, it would not have been possible for me to be here tonight and receive this award, which is a great honor for me. A global citizen born in San Paolo, who has had a long journey in football, passing through London, Manchester, Milan, and today, a citizen of Albania. Thank you all once again," emphasized Sylvinho.

The 3rd Diaspora Summit is being held at the Palace of Congresses, bringing together representatives and well-known figures from the Arbëresh community in Italy, as well as scholars and historians on Arbëresh Day.
