Ardon Jashari has become a well-known name in Switzerland and beyond over the past year. The Albanian youngster has become part of Luzern, where, at the age of 22, he wears the captain's armband and, being seen as a player with great potential, has been consistently called up to Switzerland's senior national team, including the 2022 World Cup.

Granit Xhaka's field lap after the match against Serbia, wearing his jersey, has become legendary and brought even more fame to Jashari. However, recently, his inclusion in the ranks of the Swiss national team has been cast into doubt.

This Friday, Jashari refused to join the U21 national team, even though he still has the age for it. He is on the waiting list for the Swiss senior team but does not want to play with the younger age group anymore.

This decision has sparked controversies around him, with many Swiss experts such as Moritz Bauer of "SRF," former national team coach Rolf Fringer, and former footballer Beni Hugel calling for the youngster not to be called up to the team led by Murat Jakin, with whom he has played in a total of 2 matches.
