After the confirmation of the lawsuit against the technology giant Google in the California Supreme Court for discrimination against the Albanian language, Neshad Asllani and Haki Dervishi have accepted the official request from Google LLC to grant consent for a further extension of 15 days, beyond the deadline set by the California high court. The justification states that Google needs more time to prepare and provide responses in the lawsuit for discrimination against the Albanian language, Euronews reports.

The request made by Google has been agreed upon for the extension until December 18, 2023. According to the lawyers, the request from Google and the agreement for the extension bring the parties even closer and create the possibility for a final agreement on this important issue for both parties. This agreement, signed by the plaintiffs and the defendant Google for the extension until December 18, 2023, has been submitted to the California Supreme Court.

It is worth noting that the lawsuit was filed because the continuous discrimination of the Albanian language by Google has led Albanian speakers to be discriminated against by the rest of Europe and the world in business development, marketing, and journalism, as they are excluded from the Google Ads, Google Adsense, and Google Admob platforms.

The Embassy of the Republic of Albania and the Republic of Kosovo in the USA have also been informed about the lawsuit against Google for discrimination against the Albanian language.

The extraordinary investment and contribution of Dr. Asllani and Mr. Dervishi will create opportunities and tremendous financial benefits for portals, television channels, journalists, bloggers, singers, marketing agencies, and other institutions. Revenues for all companies advertising their services and products on Google will also increase. This will impact employment growth, foreign investments, and revenues from taxes on profits and circulation enabled by Google.

Additional discussions between Asllani and Dervishi with Google's lawyers and officials will take place during December 2023. Communication is very friendly, and expectations for mutually acceptable solutions for both parties are real.

At this crucial moment for the integration and support of the Albanian language by Google, all those who wish to become part of the team to contribute to this economically, financially, and nationally important issue are welcomed.
