Jose Mourinho shaking hands with Marash Kumbulla |
Roma returns to the Europa League as the Yellow and Reds play away in Switzerland against Servette on Thursday. Coach Jose Mourinho, in a press conference,
highlighted the difficulties in the background due to limited options, not forgetting to mention the Albanian national team defender, Marash Kumbulla, who is in the
final stages of recovery from a serious injury. Among other things, the Portuguese added that he expects a strong message from those players who haven't had many minutes so far this season.
"We will only think about winning the match; maybe we will need goal difference to take the top spot in the group. But, we will do that in the last match if necessary. So, we need to win against Servette first. In the past, I have had bad experiences with players whom I have activated and haven't given the right responses. I expect a strong message from those who have played little this season. We have some difficulties in the background, Kumbulla is missing, and I have few options, not to forget Abraham, who remains out. I have gathered the players and made it clear how important this match is," expressed Mourinho.
