The Albanian Football Federation has selected the base camp where the Albanian national team will be stationed during their stay in Germany for the Euro 2024 finals!
The Communication Department at the AFF announces that the team's residence during the tournament will be the SportCentrum Kaiserau, one of the best complexes in Germany for sports teams near Dortmund.
The training center specializes in team gatherings and preparatory phases and has rich experience, as it has hosted the national teams of Germany, Brazil, Spain, Ivory Coast, as well as clubs like FC Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, FC Liverpool, FC Porto, Borussia Dortmund, Schalke 04, Valencia, Athletic Bilbao, Udinese, Legia Warsaw, Borussia Mönchengladbach, Werder Bremen, RB Leipzig, Eintracht Frankfurt, Wolfsburg, Union Berlin, Fortuna Düsseldorf, Roda Kerkrade, Standard Liege, Los Angeles Galaxy, SC Paderborn, Stuttgart, Hamburger, Bochum, Arminia Bielefeld, and Dynamo Dresden for preparatory phases or tournaments in the past.
24 hours before each match, the national team will be transferred to the city where the match will be played and will return to the base camp after the match to continue preparations.
It is a sports excellence center that provides all the necessary conditions, meeting the requirements of the coaching staff. Coach Silvino and the AFF staff visited the locations suggested by UEFA two days ago and finally, after persistent efforts, secured the services of this training center.
Albania's base camp has been chosen in a location that is near 6 out of the 10 stadiums that will host tournament matches.
The draw on December 2 placed Albania in Group B with Spain, Croatia, and Italy. The red and black national team will play their first match against Italy on June 15 at the Dortmund stadium, and on June 19, they will face Croatia at the Hamburg stadium.
The group's third match will be against Spain, scheduled for June 24 at the "Düsseldorf Arena" stadium."
