Nelson Hysa continues to register successes in professional boxing, as this Saturday night he marked another victory. The 39-year-old from Shkodra triumphed with a knockout in the first round against the number one from Venezuela, Luis Jose Marin Garcia, in the duel held in Offenbach, Germany. This victory granted the red-and-black champion the WBF Intercontinental heavyweight title. This was Hysa's 14th victory in as many matches, with 12 of them coming by knockout.

With this success, Hysa surpasses Florian Marku in terms of the number of victories. Marku has 13 triumphs and 1 draw. However, unlike Marku, the Shkodra boxer has also worn the gloves of Olympic boxing, being the absolute champion in Albania for nearly two decades.

In the boxing night in Offenbach, other talented Albanian boxers also stepped into the ring. Arjon Kajoshi and Geljan Rajku secured the WBFI title in their respective categories with point victories. Victories were also achieved by Alban Bërmeta, Senad Drini, Lulzim Ismaili, and Rexhildo Zeneli. Elsidita Selaj had a draw in her first professional match against German Naomi Manne.
