FIFA has once again praised Albanian referees, as Florian Lata has been equipped with the FIFA emblem as the main referee and will now have the opportunity to officiate important matches in Europe. For years, Albania has been on FIFA's list with three male referees, Enea Jorgji, Juxhin Xhaja, and Eldorjan Hamiti, and now Lata, as well as referee Eglantina Pjetrushaj, have been added to the list. Another female referee, Emanuela Rusta, also holds the FIFA emblem, Albanian Football Federation reports.

FIFA has decided to award its emblem to three assistant referees as well: Arbër Zalla, Xhuljo Mani, and Erind Burgu. Up until now, male assistant referees who have been awarded the FIFA emblem include Denis Rexha, Ridiger Çokaj, Rejdi Avdo, Dojando Myftari, and Ilir Tartaraj.

As for female assistant referees, Koleta Prenga, Erinda Kume, Mirjeta Salla, and Edjena Kapxhiu hold the FIFA emblem.

From the Albanian refereeing community, Enea Jorgji, Juxhin Xhaja, and Kreshnik Barjamaj have been equipped with the FIFA emblem as Video Match Officials (VAR), while the sole Futsal referee with the FIFA emblem is Arlind Subashi.

This is a significant recognition for Albanian football, especially in the refereeing sector. The criterion influencing the increase in the number of referees awarded the FIFA emblem is their excellent performance in the European arena.
