The State Police has arrested a Turkish citizen wanted by his country's authorities for attempted murder.
As part of the operation codenamed "Istanbul," the 48-year-old Hasan Ozcan was located and arrested. He had been residing in the Unaza e Re area for some time.
During the arrest, the 48-year-old did not resist as extradition procedures to Turkey were initiated.
Hasan Ozcan had been internationally wanted after the Istanbul Serious Crimes Court sentenced him to 3 years and 28 days in prison for the criminal offenses of "participation in murder" and "attempted murder."
