Armando Broja |
With Armando Broja included in the list of five footballers set to depart from Chelsea during the January transfer window, major European clubs are once again expressing interest in the striker of Albanian descent. Among them is Inter, aiming to strengthen its offensive department for the remaining part of the season.
Broja is on the shortlist of preferences for the Nerazzurri, where the primary target is Porto's Mehdi Taremi. The young Albanian star is considered an alternative, along with Anthony Martial of Manchester United.
Inter's sporting director, Piero Ausilio, attempted to address the issue in October, a period when AC Milan and West Ham were also in the race. The challenge remains in finding the right formula to bring the striker in, as Chelsea has set a price of £30 million.
Having played only 386 minutes this season, Armando Broja struggles to find his best form and sufficient playing time. In addition to Inter, the 22-year-old has offers from West Ham and Fulham in the Premier League. The January transfer window is seen as an opportunity to change this situation and secure his place in the Albanian national team for the Euro 2024 finals.
