New Details Emerge from the Scam Scheme Targeting 5,000 Greeks
 
In a recent revelation, additional details have come to light regarding the fraudulent scheme that ensnared around 5,000 Greeks. Sources from the investigative group confirm that the number of Greek citizens affected by this deception reaches 5,000.

Fresh information has emerged about Operation "Kryptonite," during which two young individuals from Korça, Kanan Hani, and Kristjan Feçanji, were apprehended.

The stolen amounts from their accounts range from three to five thousand euros. The group deceived Greek citizens by inviting them to invest in cryptocurrencies.

For those who agreed to be part of the fictitious investment scheme, the group demanded that they download a program onto their computers. This program was used to hack into data and empty bank accounts.

Investigations reveal that the seven individuals employed by the two arrested suspects hailed from the city of Fier in southern Albania.

Sources from the investigative group confirm that the number of Greek citizens who fell victim to this scam scheme stands at 5,000.

Meanwhile, within the premises where the scam took place, seven individuals from Fier were employed, none of whom were declared to tax authorities.

During this operation, 23 computer units, 1 laptop, 2 mobile phones, and other electronic devices used in this illegal activity were seized as material evidence.
