 Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs of Albania Igli Hasani has expressed condolences to the families affected by the armed attack at the University of Prague where so far, 15 people have been killed and 25 injured in the armed attack on the University of Prague. The special forces immediately surrounded the surrounding area, while the police announced that at 16:00 they had eliminated the aggressor of the attack. His name is David Kozak, a 24-year-old Czech student of the Faculty of Arts.

The General Director of the Police said that he suspects that the aggressor, who lived 12 kilometers from Prague, may have been inspired by the massacres that took place in other countries, excluding any connection with any act of terrorism.

The Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs is also in continuous contact with the Embassy of the Republic of Albania in Prague.

According to the current information, there are no reports of injuries to individuals with Albanian citizenship.

"I am deeply saddened by the tragic shootings in Prague today, which resulted in the loss of several innocent lives. My heartfelt condolences to the affected families, and I wish a speedy recovery to the injured. Albania stands in solidarity with our Czech friends in this difficult moment," stated Minister Hasani.
Meanwhile, the President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, has said that she is with the families of the victims who were killed by a gun attack in the center of Prague on Thursday.

She wrote on the X social network that in these difficult moments, Kosovo stands in solidarity with the citizens of the Czech Republic.

"We are with the families of the victims and all those who were involved in the terrible mass attack in Prague today. In these sad moments, Kosovo stands in solidarity with the citizens of Prague and with our Czech friends and allies", said Osmani.

The prime minister of Albania, Edi Rama, also wrote about the attack. He stated that Albania strongly condemns the deadly attack and "stands with Czech friends in difficult times".
