Prime Minister Edi Rama debated yesterday in Brussels with his Greek counterpart Kyriakos Mitsotakis, where the EU-Western Balkans Summit is taking place.

In the published video, the serious tones of the discussions are clearly visible, believed to be related to the "Beleri" issue, which has stalled the opening of new negotiation chapters for Albania in the EU.

Greece has been threatening Albania with a "veto" on opening negotiation chapters and holding the Intergovernmental Conference Albania-EU for some time.

After this moment, the traditional family photo was continued, in which Prime Minister Edi Rama appeared alongside the Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni.

It is worth noting that earlier, the EU spokesperson, Peter Stano, initially advised Greece to avoid worsening relations between the parties, conveying a clear message that the rule of law applies in this matter.

"We do not enter into bilateral disagreements because we have confidence in the ability of the actors. In this case, the rule of law is applied. The law must be respected, and if there are doubts, EU member states and states like Albania have the tools and means to solve such problems," said Peter Stano, among other things.
