Yesterday, a 48-year-old Albanian man accused of murder was arrested by officers of the Security Department at Athens' "Eleftherios Venizelos" Airport.

Greek media reports have identified him as Ralf Feruku, using the pseudonym "Taqi Shqiptari," linking his name to another well-known Albanian figure in the criminal world in Greece, Alket Rizai.

The individual in question was reportedly arrested in 2021 in the company of Rizai, inside an armored yacht in the Lamia area. At that time, it was reported that he had gone together with a Greek businessman, known in the nightlife scene, to meet Alket Rizai, who had received a five-day permit from the Domokos prison.

At the time of his arrest, the police discovered that Feruku was under arrest as a suspect for his involvement in the murder of Roland Shembitrasi and Gjergji Kapaj at "Joy Bar" in Glyfada on October 8, 2017. After the arrest, Feruku was held in prison until April 12, 2021, when he was released by the prosecutor's order without any security measures and deported to Albania.

Regarding his criminal past, "Taqi Shqiptari" is accused of an explosion that occurred on December 29, 2014. At that time, a "Smart" car, in which Aleks Rrapo was traveling, exploded while moving on the Attiki Odos highway.
