Girls' Albanian Cup Quarterfinals Kick Off with Impressive Performances

The 15th edition of the Albanian Girls' Cup took center stage this Sunday with the first four matches of the quarterfinal phase.

The first match featured Tirana against Lushnja. The white and blue girls triumphed with a resounding 16-0 victory. Tirana scored six goals in the first half, adding another ten in the second half of the match.

Following this victory, Tirana seems to have secured a ticket to the semifinals, FSHF reports.

Vllaznia versus Gramshi was the second match, starting at 12:00. The Shkodra team secured a 2-0 victory with goals scored in the first half, taking a confident step towards the semifinals.

Apolonia also achieved a goal-laden result, defeating Laçi 11-1. The match showcased the dominance of the Fier team throughout the 90 minutes, with nine goals scored in the first half alone. Partizani's girls also secured a win in the first quarterfinal match for the Albanian Cup, defeating Kinostudio 2-0, with one goal in each half.

The return matches will be played on Sunday, January 21, determining the four semifinalist teams for this edition.
