Dimitra Katsafadou |
The recent theft involving Greek businesswoman Dimitra Katsafadou has taken an intriguing turn, with family members shedding light on the unfolding events.
According to reports, upon entering her home with her keys, Katsafadou encountered the accused holding a green bag similar to those used for storing the company's funds. The suspect claimed to have received these bags from an unknown man waiting in a red-silver car outside.
A close family associate of Dimitra Katsafadou provided a statement to the police, stating, "The accused had been an employee of the company for about two years and was a trusted person for the victim. Although responsible for household duties and living in rotation, she did not have keys, nor was it her duty to manage the company's finances extensively. However, she was aware of the cupboard where the money was kept inside the house and the location of the key that opened that cupboard."
When questioned about the situation, Katsafadou's brother, Nikos Malakodimos, spoke to MEGA, highlighting that he filed a lawsuit on the same day the theft was discovered. "Investigators came to take fingerprints and noticed the missing amount of money. This individual was found crossing the border to Albania on the same day," Mr. Malakodimos stated.
"These funds exist in a company and are deposited in banks because they come from the company's wholesale transactions," he added.
The case continues to unfold with familial testimonies and legal actions, creating a complex narrative around the theft involving Dimitra Katsafadou. The involvement of family members adds a layer of complexity to the investigation as authorities work to unravel the full extent of the incident.
