Kukës County woke up to a snowy Saturday morning, with the landscape covered in a blanket of snow. Intense snowfall occurred throughout the night and is still ongoing.
The snow thickness has reached up to 15-30 cm, creating a winter wonderland in the region.
According to reports, national roads are currently open and accessible with winter tires. Municipalities in Kukës, Tropojë, and Has have not reported any significant issues. Meanwhile, the city of Kukës and the Zapod Administrative Unit are being partially supplied with electrical energy.
In Kruma and Bajram Curri, there are no power outages reported. The rest of the county is currently under a layer of snow. The supply of drinking water remains normal.
On the National Road, there is snowfall, but traffic is moving smoothly. In the southeast, snow has started to fall in Qafë Thanë, Pogradec, and Qafë Plloçë. It is expected that the entire Korçë County will be covered in snow by around 14:00.
