Ambulances manufactured by TIMAK |
TIMAK Albania stands as an unprecedented success story in the Albanian business landscape, not only due to its involvement in the relatively unknown industry of car modification but also because of the visionary leader at the helm of the operation.
Arjeta Puca, specializing in computer science and with seven years of experience at the German giant Bosch, embarked on a challenging journey in 2016. Today, she is reaping the rewards of her hard work, honored with a prestigious medal.
"The ambulances of Ukraine were purchased from Austria and donated to the country. Other cars have been sent to various countries," says Ms. Puca. "My biggest dream is to have our military vehicles. For Albania and Kosovo," she adds.
Soon, Albania will proudly produce cars bearing the label "Made in Albania."
Arjeta has the project ready, and small details separate her from realizing this ambitious dream.
"We are in talks with the Prime Minister to open a joint company with the state, and we are in discussions about it," says Ms. Puca. "We hope to have a prototype this year," she adds.
