In the recently published ranking by the International Federation of Football History & Statistics (IFFHS) for the year 2023, Albania's national team coach, Sylvinho, has secured the eighth position among the world's best national team coaches.
The Brazilian tactician has been recognized among the top 10 coaches globally who lead national teams, acknowledging his achievements with Albania in the past year. Silvinjo notably guided the team to qualify for the European Championship "Germany 2024" and secured the first position in Group E.
In the rankings, Silvinjo surpassed Morocco's coach, Walid Regragui, who performed impressively with the national team in the 2022 World Cup, and Scotland's coach, Steven Clarke.
Ranked ahead of Silvinjo are renowned coaches Lionel Scaloni, Didier Deschamps, Roberto Martinez, Luis De La Fuente, Marcelo Bielsa, Hajime Moriyasu, and Gareth Southgate.
This recognition highlights Silvinjo's contributions to Albania's national team, marking his presence among the elite coaches on the global stage. The acknowledgment is not only a testament to his coaching prowess but also to the team's successful journey in international competitions.
