In a shocking incident, the Deputy Commissioner of Durres Police, Arben Pjeci, has taken his own life using his service weapon. Sources for A2CNN report that the tragedy unfolded within the premises of the Durres Police Commissariat.

Pjeci had been in a psychologically fragile state for several days, likely influenced by a recent decision to suspend him from duty for a short period. The circumstances surrounding his suspension were not immediately disclosed.
