Adnan Januzaj has stayed with Sevilla even after the closing of the winter transfer window. Despite expectations that the Kosovo forward would leave the Andalusian club due to limited playing time, Januzaj will remain at Sevilla at least until summer.

The 28-year-old has played only 10 matches this season between La Liga and the Copa del Rey, with a total of 307 minutes on the field, and the club does not count on his services.
Sevilla's Sporting Director, Víctor Orta, criticized the Kosovo forward, stating that he rejected six offers in January from Turkey, Scotland, and France, all of which were turned down by Januzaj.
"Well, Januzaj is a question that should be asked of the player. We have received up to six offers from other clubs in Scotland, Turkey, and France, and we accepted two of those offers, but the player was not willing to leave."
"I personally told him that it was good for the club if he left, but the player was not ready to go. For him, there is no problem with having minutes to develop as a footballer, and he acknowledges that he has a current contract. From there, the debate closed."
"We have always told him what the club's idea was, which was for a player to develop by playing and accumulating minutes. If he has another idea, that's him," said Victor Orta.
However, Januzaj quickly responded, stating that the accusations by the Sporting Director are false.
"Given the recent statements of Sevilla FC's Sporting Director, Víctor Orta, in which he singles me out and accuses me with a series of absolutely false comments, I declare that I have never refused to leave Sevilla FC under any circumstances."
Januzaj mentioned that there were offers, but he did not leave because they were not the right destinations for a switch of teams.
"Yes, there were some offers, but I refused them because I did not consider them the right destinations for various reasons. Victor Orta is not telling the truth, and he knows very well what my thoughts have been at all times. Never, in my 11-year professional career, have I had any problems."
