Having grown up amidst the challenges of Albanian football with Pepe's club, in January, 18-year-old defender Adi Kurti, who has also been part of Albania's youth teams, signed a three-year contract with Empoli in Serie A, with an option for another. The Elbasan native joined the team where many national team players such as Kristjan Asllani, Elseid Hysaj, Nedim Bajrami, Etrit Berisha, Ardian Ismajli, and Stiven Shpendi have played or are playing.

"I feel very happy about the new contract with Empoli. I am very grateful to the club for the opportunity they have given me. The impressions are very positive, and the conditions are very different. You go there as a professional, train, eat, everything is ready, and I can say everything is in perfection. If you don't become a footballer, then the fault remains with you as an individual," he expressed.

For Report TV, the center-back revealed that at Empoli, they have welcomed him warmly, but above all as a national team player.
