Albanian Police helped two Belgian tourists Lost on the Outskirts of Tirana

 After several hours of search and rescue operation, the Police Commissariat No. 1 of Tirana came to the aid of two tourists from Belgium who had lost their way while exploring the mountains due to rugged terrain.

The search and rescue operation, conducted during the afternoon hours, was carried out in collaboration with the Special Forces Sector "Shqiponja," the National Public Safety Force, and community liaisons.

Today, around 5:00 PM, a notification was received that two tourists from Belgium had lost their way while exploring the village of Kllojke and, as a result, were stranded in the rugged mountain terrain.


Immediately upon receiving the notification, the services of Police Commissariat No. 1, in collaboration with the Special Forces Sector "Shqiponja," the National Public Safety Force, and community liaisons, organized a search and rescue operation. After several hours of intensive search, due to the difficult and rugged terrain and the distance of the location from areas accessible by vehicles, the foreign tourists were located.

The police and supporting services provided medical first aid to the tourists and equipped them with food and clothing.
