The Albanian women's national football team will participate in the "Visit Malta Trophy" tournament, with official matches against Belarus and the Faroe Islands confirmed.
The Albanian women's national team will take part in the "Visit Malta Trophy" tournament, scheduled to take place in Malta from February 22nd to 25th. This tournament is organized by the Maltese Football Federation, which has invited Albania's women's team to participate along with representatives from Belarus and the Faroe Islands.
The red and black girls, led by coach Armir Grima, will play two matches in this tournament against Belarus on February 22nd at 14:00, and three days later they will face the Faroe Islands, also at the same time. Both matches will be held at the "Tonny Bezzina" stadium.
The women's national team will begin gathering on February 19th in Tirana, while on February 21st, the red and black girls will travel to Malta. Coach Grima will announce the list of selected players in the coming days.
These two matches are a great opportunity for the team, as well as for the coaching staff, to observe and test the players, considering that they are currently not engaged in official UEFA or FIFA-level matches.
