In a recent survey conducted by "Barometri," Albania's stance on same-sex marriage has been evaluated in comparison to various countries globally. The results reveal that only 10 percent of respondents agree with same-sex marriages.

Compared to the consensus in other European, South American, North American, and Asian countries, Albania ranks at the bottom of the list in terms of agreement.
At the top of the list, with a staggering 92% agreement on same-sex marriages, is Sweden, while Nigeria ranks last with only 2% agreement.
Among neighboring countries, Greece ranks below Albania with 41% agreement, while Italy stands at 73%.
Within the European Union, according to the "Pew Research Center," Poland has the lowest agreement rate at 31%.
Albania's stance on same-sex marriage reflects a complex social and cultural landscape, indicating both progress and challenges in attitudes towards LGBTQ+ rights. While the country's position may differ from its neighbors and other European nations, ongoing discussions and debates on this issue continue to shape Albania's societal outlook and policies.
