Foda was introduced by the president of the Football Federation of Kosovo, Agim Ademi, who welcomed him and wished him success in leading the team.
"Congratulations to the new coach. I hope that his program aligns with our project and brings results. Foda is a coach of results. In this regard, we want results because we have made our development. We hope that Foda will be the coach who will make history for Kosovo, to qualify it for European competitions. Foda visited Kosovo two weeks ago. He has seen the conditions and has decided. He has a two-year contract. In these two years, in the upcoming competitions, we will implement his program and meet our demands. There is nothing certain in our football, but we are trying to do our best. Foda has free hands to decide, he comes with his team, there will be no interference, but he will have the support of the Federation," said Ademi.
The first three challenges for the German coach include friendly matches scheduled for March and June.
Kosovo's first match will be on March 22 in Yerevan against Armenia, while on March 26, they will face Hungary in Budapest.
Furthermore, the third friendly match is planned in Oslo against Norway on June 5th.
