"We had been aiming for him; he was our priority. The guy is recovering very well from the injury and is now ready for the coach," said Carnevali.

Meanwhile, today, he was present at the press conference with coach Alessio Dionisi. The latter announced that Kumbulla would not be ready for tomorrow's match against Bologna but hopes that the debut of the Albanian defender will take place next week.

"He came from Milan yesterday. Yesterday he did his first session with us, and he will do the same next week, hoping to return to the field next week or the one after. He is at the end of his recovery. Now we will reintegrate him into the group day by day; he won't be in the match tomorrow," said Dionisi.
