Albanian Police Finalizes Extradition Procedures for Four Individuals Accused of Various Crimes

 The State Police has concluded the extradition procedures for four individuals who are either convicted or accused by authorities in Albania and Spain for illegal possession of firearms, cultivation, production, and sale of narcotics, as well as for concealing income.

Salvatore Salozzo, 31 years old, born in Italy, was extradited from Italy to Albania after being sentenced by the Tirana Court to 5 years in prison for the criminal offense of "Concealment of Income." The 31-year-old concealed the income of his commercial company and did not pay taxes to the Albanian state.


Renald Lleshi (Canaj), 29 years old, was extradited from Germany to Albania after being sentenced by the Saranda Court to over 3 years in prison for the criminal offenses of "Unauthorized possession and production of firearms, explosive devices, and ammunition" and "Production and sale of narcotics." On August 29, 2017, in Saranda, the 29-year-old collaborated in the shooting of three individuals with firearms, and 9.8 kg of cannabis sativa were found in his residence.

Njazi Kulla, 28 years old, was extradited from Luxembourg to Albania after being sentenced by the Tirana Court to 3 years in prison for the criminal offense of "Unauthorized possession and production of firearms, explosive devices, and ammunition." The 28-year-old is also required to serve approximately 2 years in prison from this sentence.

Ll., 48 years old, born in Vlora, was extradited from Albania to Spain after the Barcelona Court imposed the security measure of "Arrest in prison" for the criminal offense of "Cultivation of narcotic plants," according to the provisions of the Spanish Penal Code.

The Police inform that cooperation with European partners, and beyond, continues to finalize the extradition of detained individuals, who are internationally wanted for various criminal offenses.
