Following the ceremonial reception at the Ministry of Defense, Maqedonci stated that he and his Italian counterpart discussed the security situation in Kosovo and ways to expand cooperation in the fields of military education and training, as well as in defense industry.

"I sought Italy's support in Kosovo's accession processes to the EU and NATO, for which I received acknowledgment and confirmation from Minister Crosetto that we will have Italy's unparalleled support. We both agreed that the integration of the Balkans into the EU and NATO would create stable peace and stability," emphasized Maqedonci.

Furthermore, the Kosovar minister thanked his Italian counterpart for the support Italy has provided to Kosovo, especially in the fields of security and defense, being the country with the largest troop contribution within the framework of the KFOR mission.

Minister Maqedonci informed Minister Crosetto about the support Kosovo is offering to Ukraine through the provision of training and the donation of tactical vehicles and drones expected to be sent soon.
