Four Albanians were attacked by a group of Moroccans while they were at the "Shake" lounge in the center of Via Aldo Moro, local media reports.

The Albanians had been at the establishment when two Moroccans approached them. Following a heated debate that escalated into a physical confrontation, one of the Moroccans allegedly opened fire on them from a vehicle. Suspicions suggest that the clash may have occurred due to disputes related to the drug trade.

Meanwhile, two others are reported to be injured and currently hospitalized.

An employee of the "Shake" lounge, in his testimony, mentioned that he was inside the establishment when the young individuals were debating with each other, throwing chairs and objects.

He stated, "When the brawl erupted, I was inside. I turned around and saw chairs flying while the guys were fighting. Everyone left the premises together with many frightened customers. Later, a few seconds afterward, we heard gunshots."

On the other hand, the owner of a nearby pizzeria, adjacent to the crime scene, shared that upon hearing the gunshots, he initially thought they were fireworks. He expressed shock as he stepped outside and witnessed the entire scene, including an individual lying on the ground.

"I heard the shots but thought they were fireworks; later, I went out and saw the person on the ground," he revealed.

The incident has left the community in shock and raised concerns about escalating violence, prompting authorities to investigate the motives behind the attack.

The mayor of Frosinone, Riccardo Mastrangeli, said that he is shocked by the crime and that this is an inexplicable event.

"I'm shocked, I can't say anything. For me what happened is inexplicable. It's a wound for the whole city. I can only confirm that tomorrow morning we will talk to the prefect," said Frosinone mayor Riccardo Mastrangeli .

He announces that the Prefect of Frosinone Ernesto Liguori will convene tomorrow morning the Committee for public order and security where he will take stock of the event that shocked the country.
