The Albanian Football Federation (FSHF) welcomed one of the greatest footballers in the history of the German national team, Steffi Jones, today at the "House of Football" as part of the promotion of girls' football in Albania and her role as the ambassador of Germany for the Euro 2024 finals.

Steffi Jones visited the premises of the "House of Football," where she was warmly greeted by Anila Basha, a member of the FSHF Executive Committee. Initially, she familiarized herself with the history of Albanian football by visiting the museum within the premises of the FSHF. Following this, she engaged in an open discussion with FSHF officials, coaches, and footballers.
Reflecting on her remarkable career as a player and coach, Steffi Jones recalled the most significant moments and her contribution to the development of girls' football. The discussion also centered on her role as the ambassador of Germany for Euro 2024, where she expressed that the qualification of the Albanian national team is a fantastic achievement. She encouraged girls, expressing confidence that with dedication and hard work, the goal of participation in such tournaments could become a reality for the Albanian women's national team in the future.
Steffi Jones delivered several important messages, emphasizing that the beauty of football includes everyone, hence the focus of federations on the development of girls' football.
"I am delighted with your national team's participation in the Euro 2024 finals in Germany. This success is achieved through teamwork and the fantastic work done by the Albanian Football Federation. I am fully confident that you will make a dignified appearance in Germany, and I also take this opportunity to commend you for the good work done in girls' football. However, there is still more work to be done to reach where you aim. My main message is for all girls involved in football; dedication, determination, and hard work will lead you on the path to success. I am convinced that one day, Albania's girls will qualify for the Euro finals," said Steffi Jones.
Continuing her visit, Steffi Jones observed a training session at the KS Ali Demi and Kastriotët girls' academies at the "House of Football," where she interacted closely with the players and coaches.
Tomorrow, Steffi Jones will also visit the SOS Village in Tirana, engaging in discussions with children about football and demonstrating some sports techniques.
