According to ABC News reports at least 5 individuals were unable to fly to Tirana on Sunday morning as their flights were canceled.

The group consisted of employees from the Ministry of Tourism and tour operators, including a minor child.

These individuals had traveled to Israel to participate in a promotional activity highlighting Albania's tourism potential, organized by our embassy there.

The escalation of the situation prompted our Ministry of Foreign Affairs to request on Thursday that these individuals return to Albania, a call that was not taken seriously.

Following the recent events, our embassy in Israel has arranged a return flight to Albania for them, via a transit flight departing Sunday afternoon.

Additionally, there are currently 8 Albanian students temporarily residing in Israel.

Facilitating their return, if they choose to do so, will be done in accordance with the new security regulations to be announced by Israel, following the military decisions that will be made.
