Under the artistic direction of Edit Pula, this year's Tirana Festival of Arts has uniquely blended tradition and modernity, showcasing magical performances from local and international artists in poetry, dance, and music. This festival, taking place during the nights of May, aims to promote both Albanian artists and international arts in Albania.
Electro-Acoustic Performance by Mats Erlandsson
One of the standout events of this festival was the electro-acoustic performance by Swedish artist Mats Erlandsson, which took place on Monday evening. Erlandsson delivered an unforgettable spectacle that was enthusiastically received by both locals and foreigners.
A Diverse Lineup of Artists
Edit Pula has announced that 150 artists, both Albanian and international, will perform throughout the festival nights. She emphasized that the festival aims to promote not only Albanian artists but also international arts in Albania. The lineup includes contemporary dance, puppet theater, and a mix of the most unusual and family-friendly arts.
Cultural Offerings for All Ages
Pula highlighted that the festival is attracting interest from all age groups. “Young people are interested, but the most beautiful and interesting thing is that there is more cultural offering for the older generation. Families and foreigners are joining this festival,” she noted.
With a rich and diverse program, the Tirana Festival of Arts under Edit Pula's direction promises to be a significant cultural event, celebrating the fusion of traditional and contemporary art forms.
