Therefore, the parties have agreed to jointly and without limitations exercise parental responsibility, taking care of and maintaining personal relationships with their child, ensuring her well-being, education, legal representation, and management of her assets.

Despite Prince Leka's willingness and readiness to take the child for upbringing and education, given Geraldina's young age of 3, she has expressed agreement for the child to be left for upbringing and education with Elias.

"In this regard, if circumstances change, in the best interest of the child, the father may seek custody and education," further stated in the agreement.

Where will Geraldina live?

Based on mutual consent, it has been decided that the child Geraldina Zogu will be left for upbringing and education with her mother Elia Zogu in the apartment "Apartment ... with a total area of 257.93 m/2", located behind the former Hotel Dajti, which has been made available to the child by the Father.

Since at the time of the conclusion of this agreement the building is under construction and the apartment is not yet suitable for habitation, and if this condition persists even after the entry into force of this agreement, the father agrees that until the apartment is habitable, the mother and child may continue to stay in the current residence (editorial clarification: the Royal Palace is specified in the agreement). Both parents undertake to maintain a healthy relationship and mutual respect in the best interest of the child.

The parents agree that the principle of free and continuous communication regarding the child's education will be applied between them.

Financial obligations

According to the agreement, Leka Zogu will pay a monthly monetary obligation of 1,000 euros as child support to Geraldina. This amount includes expenses for the child's daily needs and will be paid into the Mother's bank account.

In any case, the parties agree that the Father shall have full knowledge and information about how the payments are used. The obligation for this payment begins from the formal issuance of the divorce decree.

The expenses for the child's education and upbringing will be borne to the extent of 50 percent by each parent, except in cases where the educational institution is determined by the father, who in this case will cover all expenses for education and upbringing.

This amount of child support obligation will continue at the same rate until the child's needs have not changed.

When will Leka Zogu meet Geraldina?

Leka Zogu and Elia have agreed to spend equal time with Geraldina. The child will spend uninterrupted time with each parent every week (at her father's residence), for no less than 48 hours (two full days), on Fridays and Saturdays, including accompaniment by the father and other social, cultural, and educational activities in which the child may engage during the period spent with the father. The days of stay may be changed or extended upon the father's request, taking into account the child's participation in social and cultural activities related to the father's social status.

The child will stay with Elias for five full days, including accompanying him to kindergarten or school, as well as other social and cultural activities in which the child may engage.

With the aim of spending time with the child, to have the opportunity to present his paternal figure, in the day-to-day issues of the child, during the child's stay with the mother, the father has the right to meet the child. The duration of the stay will be agreed upon between the parents but not less than 6 (six) hours per week.

During the summer vacations, which include the months of June-July-August, the time with the parents will be divided equally, and the child will stay with each parent for up to 20 (twenty) days, which will alternate between the parents by agreement.

During the winter holidays, the child will stay with the father from the end date of the school cycle until December 30 in even years, and from December 30 until January 5 in odd years.

On the child's birthday, the parents will be together with the child, and if there are any celebrations, they will be held with the participation of both parents, in case the parents do not agree to spend it in any other way.

In case the child has other vacations or free time, the parents agree that this time will be divided equally.

However, depending on the agreement between the parents, each parent may keep the child without being conditioned by the aforementioned limitations. Any change in child custody with the consent of the parents must ensure that it does not disturb, diminish, or in any way worsen the child's relationship with either parent.
