In the latest measurements of the Barometer on Euronews Albania, conducted from May 4th to May 14th, 2024, Albanian institutions have once again been tested for the level of trust they command among citizens. Considering the dynamics within the current Albanian political system, the special focus of the Barometer has been the Special Prosecution Office against Corruption and Organized Crime (SPAK).

On a scale from 0 to 10, citizens were invited to indicate whether they have trust in key institutions responsible for shaping the reality in the country.
In a list of 15 institutions in Albania (including international representations), such as the US Embassy, the EU Commission Delegation, OSCE, SPAK, the Presidency, the government, the police, local authorities, religious representatives, media, civil society, the judiciary, the opposition, parliament, and political parties, SPAK continues to rank first among Albanian institutions in terms of trustworthiness.
Out of 1000 face-to-face interviews conducted by the Barometer, 32% of respondents expressed trust in SPAK, ranking it as the most trustworthy institution among Albanian institutions. Topping the list as in previous measurements are international representations, led by the US Embassy in Tirana with 40.5% trust from Albanian citizens, followed by the EU Commission Delegation with 35.8% trust.
This is a repeated measurement of the Barometer on the same topic, with the same questions and the same measurement scale from November 2022 until now. In four different measurements, November 2022, November 2023, February 2024, and now, SPAK remains the most trusted Albanian institution for the year 2024.
