Albanian and Serbian Fans Clash in Gelsenkirchen Ahead of England vs Serbia Euro 2024 Match

 A violent clash broke out between Albanian and Serbian fans in the center of Gelsenkirchen, where the England vs Serbia match for Euro 2024 is set to take place. Gelsenkirchen is located about 30 kilometers from Dortmund, where the Albania vs Italy match was held yesterday.

According to reports from Sky Sports, Bild, and the Daily Mail, English fans were not involved in the violent confrontation in Gelsenkirchen, which occurred between a group of Albanians and Serbs.


The clash took place in the center of Gelsenkirchen, but according to Sky Sports News journalist Kaveh Solhekol, it was not a major incident thanks to the presence of German police, who quickly intervened to stop the altercation.

Several individuals involved in the clash have been arrested, and there were reports of injuries among the participants.

England and Serbia are scheduled to play their first Group C match of Euro 2024 at the Veltins Arena in Gelsenkirchen at 9:00 PM tonight.

A large number of Albanians are currently in Germany to support the Albanian national team, which is competing in Euro 2024.
