Albanian weightlifter Samuel Rrasa has been crowned European champion after lifting 135 kg at the European Youth Weightlifting Championships held in Thessaloniki, Greece.

Rrasa competed in the 73 kg weight class for athletes under 17 years old. His remarkable performance earned him the gold medal in the snatch category with a lift of 125 kg. This achievement was reported by “ATSH,” highlighting his significant contribution to the sport.
In addition to his gold medal in the snatch, Rrasa secured a silver medal in the combined total, finishing second overall in the two-lift event. His total lift of 125 kg in the snatch and additional performance in the clean and jerk positioned him as one of the top young weightlifters in Europe.
