In a successful rescue operation, four German tourists were saved by police after being stranded in the mountainous area known as "Qafa e Pejës" in Theth. According to police sources, the group of tourists was exploring the area on foot when one of them suffered injuries that made it impossible for him to continue walking.

Upon receiving the emergency signal, civil emergency services launched a search and rescue operation. Helicopters from the civil emergency services scoured the area and managed to locate the tourists. The injured tourist was airlifted to the Trauma Hospital in Tirana for medical assistance.
"Thanks to the well-organized efforts and cooperation with other services, the police officers were able to extract the remaining three tourists from the difficult terrain where they had been trapped," the police statement read.
