The UEFA Ethics and Disciplinary Committee has once again fined the Albanian Football Federation (FSHF) an amount of 47,500 euros due to incidents that occurred during the second-round match in the finals of the European Championship "Germany 2024" against Croatia, played at the Hamburg stadium on June 19, 2024.

The financial penalty arose from issues caused by some Albanian fans who ignited flares during the match, displayed inappropriate messages during the Croatia-Albania match, and for the interruption of the game by a fan during its progress.
Once again, the Football Federation takes this opportunity to appeal to all Albanian fans to be more responsible and to avoid creating such incidents and disturbances, which are entirely preventable. These actions not only lead to financial penalties but also damage the image of Albania and Albanian football. Additionally, the FSHF reminds that non-sporting messages (political, ethnic, etc.) are not allowed during matches.
The FSHF invites fans and football enthusiasts to support the Albanian National Team throughout this magical and historic journey in EURO 2024, by demonstrating citizenship and responsibility through proper behavior and by respecting the rules and opponents.
Complete Decisions of the UEFA Ethics and Disciplinary Committee:
- To fine the Albanian Football Federation 2,500 euros for igniting fireworks.
- To fine the Albanian Football Federation 20,000 euros for field invasion.
- To fine the Albanian Football Federation 25,000 euros for displaying inappropriate messages for a sporting event.
