Saranda Port Explosion: Unveiling the Fatal Sabotage Plot

 The tragic incident that occurred a few days ago at Saranda port, resulting in the death of diver Armando Nelaj, has been clarified. According to reports, Nelaj and a 35-year-old accomplice had planned to place explosives on a ship for competitive reasons. However, the explosives accidentally detonated while they were attempting to transport and install them on the ship.

As a result, the police have arrested the 35-year-old accomplice. The person in the photo is Eridion Muho, the 35-year-old arrested in connection with the incident that took place at Saranda port a week ago, where Armando Nelaj lost his life.

Muho is the owner of Erdano Tours, which operates the Saranda-Corfu route with the ship Saranda Express. Muho had planned with Nelaj to place the explosives on a ship for competitive reasons. However, the explosives accidentally detonated, killing the 52-year-old Nelaj during the attempt to transport and install them on the ship.

In-depth investigations in cooperation with the Prosecution have clarified the incident that occurred on 24.07.2024, at Saranda port, where a 52-year-old man lost his life due to an explosion.

As a result of professional and thorough investigative actions, a citizen has been arrested who is suspected of planning to place an explosive device on a ship along with the 52-year-old, which accidentally detonated, causing the death of the 52-year-old.

The investigative structures of the Saranda Police Station, under the direction of the Prosecution, as a result of thorough investigative actions, have been able to clarify and document with legal evidence the incident that occurred on 24.07.2024, at Saranda port, where a citizen lost his life due to an explosion at sea.

As a result of the investigations, a 35-year-old resident of Saranda has been detained. This individual is suspected, in collaboration with citizen A., of planning to place an explosive device on one of the ships operating on the Saranda-Corfu route for competitive reasons.

This explosive device accidentally detonated during the attempt to transport and place it on the ship, resulting in the death of the citizen.

The procedural materials have been forwarded to the Prosecutor's Office at the Saranda First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction for further actions.
