Another 17-month contract between the Albanian Football Federation and the Brazilian-origin coach Sylvio Mendes Campos Júnior, with the objective of achieving Albania's first qualification for the World Cup finals.
The renewal of coach Sylvinho and his staff, consisting of Dorival and Zabaleta, also came with a salary increase. If the previous contract was valued at 1.1 million euros, where 750,000 euros went to the coach and the rest was divided among the assistants, the new amount is higher.
The total value of the new contract is around 1.5 million euros. Of this amount, 1 million euros will go to coach Sylvinho and 500,000 euros will be divided between Dorival and Zabaleta.
As in the previous contract, the staff will receive a substantial bonus if the objective of qualifying for the 2026 World Cup is achieved.
