The Directorate of the Special Operational Force has apprehended a 45-year-old woman who was wanted by the Italian authorities for her involvement in a criminal organization related to drug trafficking in Italy.

During a police operation codenamed “Operacionalja 19,” the suspect, identified as Edisnarda, also known as Edisnajda Shapka, was arrested in the city of Durrës for the purpose of extradition. She was born and resides in Durrës.
The Court of Bologna has assigned her a detention measure of "Arrest in prison" for the criminal act of “Drug Trafficking” carried out within the framework of a criminal organization.
Cooperation between Interpol Tirana and Interpol Rome continues in order to facilitate the extradition of this individual to Italy.
