Tirana police have uncovered a "grow house" cultivating cannabis with the use of electric lamps, following an operation that began last night. The cannabis cultivation site was found in the Selitë area of the capital city.

According to initial reports, large quantities of cannabis were discovered, though full details about the operation and potential arrests have yet to be made public. Investigations are ongoing as authorities work to fully uncover the extent of this illegal operation and identify those involved.
In the early morning hours, officers from Police Station No. 2 intervened at an old two-story warehouse on "Hamdi Pepa" street in Selitë. Based on intelligence, it was suspected that narcotic plants were being cultivated there using electric lamps.
Upon searching the location, police discovered 105 suspected cannabis sativa plants, grown in plastic pots, on the second floor of the building, which has been privatized by citizens identified as A.C., K.K., and V.S.
Several individuals have been brought in for questioning, while a special investigative team is working at the scene to fully document and legally process the circumstances surrounding the case.
