In a story that sounds almost too strange to be true, Corrado, the alleged leader of two drug trafficking groups, was tracked down by authorities after killing a seagull in 2021.
According to reports from Italian media, Corrado was enjoying a sandwich on the picturesque island of Capri when a seagull swooped in and stole his food. In a fit of rage, Corrado threw a rock at the bird, killing it. When authorities moved in, they uncovered nearly 100 kilograms of drugs, including cocaine and hashish, along with a firearm with the serial number scratched off, two magazines, 33 rounds of ammunition, and over €820,000 in cash. Corrado, as the suspected mastermind behind these groups, is now facing charges not only for his involvement in the drug trade but also for his seemingly trivial yet highly consequential act of animal cruelty.
