In Milan, the 43-year-old Albanian man shot his partner's 19-year-old son

 A 19-year-old boy is fighting for his life after being critically injured by his mother’s partner, a 46-year-old Albanian man. The tragic incident took place in Milan, Italy, when the young man intervened to protect his mother from being physically assaulted by her partner.

According to local media, the 46-year-old, who has been arrested and charged with attempted murder and illegal possession of a firearm, opened fire on the young man during a violent altercation. The victim was struck by a bullet that hit him between the neck and collarbone. He was immediately rushed to the Niguarda Hospital in Milan, where he is currently in intensive care.

The incident occurred around 3:40 a.m. on the night between Saturday and Sunday, outside a building located at 41 Via XXV Aprile in Novate Milanese, a northern suburb of Milan with a population of around 20,000.

Italian media reported that the altercation initially involved the 19-year-old and his mother's partner, a Ukrainian woman. The argument escalated, and the Albanian man drew his gun, a .84 caliber Beretta, firing at the young man who tried unsuccessfully to flee into the street to avoid the shot.

This tragic event has shocked the local community, raising concerns about domestic violence and the use of illegal firearms. Authorities continue their investigation as the young man’s condition remains critical.
