Nikol Çabeli, a young talent from Gjirokastër, is preparing to represent Albania at the Eurovision Kids 2024 contest. In a recent interview via Skype with “ABC e Mëngjesit,” Nikol shared exciting details about her song, its message, and the team behind it. Her song carries an important message aimed at protecting nature, reflecting the growing global concern for the environment.

“The message of my song is to protect nature, the environment, and the flowers. I invite children and adults alike to take care of nature,” Nikol passionately explained. The lyrics of the song were penned by Erjona Rushiti, while the orchestration was crafted by Enis Mullai. “Erjona is my good luck charm. Our first song together won at the Festival in Shkodër,” Nikol proudly noted.
Nikol will take her message of environmental protection to Madrid, Spain, where Eurovision Kids will be held this year. She won’t be traveling alone, as her parents, her mentor Erjona, and her music teacher Enis will accompany her. But there’s an additional surprise: Nikol’s sister, who is 18 years older and lives in the United States, will be joining the family in Madrid, bringing along Nikol’s baby niece, who will soon turn one.
“I am so excited because my sister and niece are coming all the way from America to support me. It’s such a special surprise,” Nikol shared, expressing her joy.
As she prepares for this big stage, Nikol’s enthusiasm is contagious. With her talent, the support of her family and mentors, and a meaningful song, she is ready to bring Albania into the spotlight at Eurovision Kids 2024.
