The first training session took place at the “Air Albania” stadium, featuring players Ylber Ramadani, Myrto Uzuni, Ivan Balliu, Kristjan Asllani, Ardian Ismajli, Arbër Hoxha, Mario Mitaj, Alen Sherri, Simon Simoni, Elseid Hysaj, Andi Hadroj, Thomas Strakosha, and Feta Fetai.

In addition to the senior team members, several players from the Albanian U-21 squad also joined the training camp. They are set to play two friendly matches against Moldova, scheduled in Albania on November 15 and 18, as part of their development and integration into the senior setup.

According to the Albanian Football Association (FSHF) Communications Department, defenders Berat Gjimshiti, Keidi Bare, and Marash Kumbulla will not be available for these crucial November fixtures. Gjimshiti sustained an injury in his last league match against Udinese, while Bare and Kumbulla are also recovering from injuries. Following consultations between the national team’s medical staff and the players’ respective clubs, it was decided that these players will continue their rehabilitation programs instead.

Meanwhile, striker Rey Manaj arrived at the camp today and underwent immediate medical testing. After careful review, the medical team concluded that Manaj will not be able to recover in time. Consequently, he will return to his club to continue his recovery regimen.

To cover for these four absences, head coach Silvinho has called up Adrian Bajrami, Jon Mersinaj, and Arbnor Muja for the November matches. These players are expected to join the team on Tuesday to begin their training sessions with the rest of the squad.

With these final preparations underway, Albania aims to deliver a strong performance in its last UEFA Nations League outings, hoping to conclude the competition on a high note.
